My Judge's Eye – Terms of Agreement for Purchases
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These Terms of Agreement ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of video review services from Art Center Collective LLC, doing business as My Judge's Eye ("My Judge's Eye," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a video, completing a purchase, or using this website, you ("Customer," "you") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or submit a video.
1. Services
My Judge's Eye provides written and/or video feedback on dance and gymnastics performances submitted by customers (the "Services"). Feedback is based solely on the video you submit and reflects the professional opinion of the reviewer. Feedback is provided for educational and informational purposes only. We also offer live one-on-one video consultations, described in Section 1A.
1A. Storyteller Package (Live One-on-One Sessions)
The Storyteller Package consists of two, three, or five live one-on-one video consultations, as selected at purchase, to work on the customer's storytelling. Each session lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Sessions are coaching for educational purposes only and are not therapy or mental health treatment. We do not guarantee any particular result.
Scheduling and technology. Sessions are scheduled through cal.com. You are responsible for choosing times you can attend and for having a working internet connection, camera, and microphone. We are not responsible for technical problems on your end. If a technical problem on our end prevents a session, we will reschedule it.
Cancellation and rescheduling. You may cancel or reschedule a session at least 24 hours before its start time at no charge. A session canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed, counts as used. If an emergency prevents you from attending, contact us as soon as you can and we will consider the circumstances and may reschedule the session at our discretion.
Expiration. All sessions in a package must be used within six months of the purchase date. Sessions not used by then expire and are not refundable.
Refunds. You may request a refund of a package within 24 hours of purchase, as long as no session has taken place. Once any session has taken place, or after that 24-hour window, the package is non-refundable, including any unused sessions.
Minors. If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must purchase the package and must be present, or at the same location and immediately available, for the entire session. Communication with a minor participant takes place only during scheduled sessions or through the parent or guardian.
No recording. Neither you nor we may record, screenshot, or otherwise capture a session without the prior written consent of everyone taking part.
Physical activity. Sessions do not require physical activity. If you choose to move or demonstrate anything during a session, you do so at your own risk, in a clear space with a suitable surface, and with supervision appropriate to the participant's age and ability. Sections 4 and 5 apply to live sessions.
Conduct. We may end a session for inappropriate or disrespectful behavior, without a refund or makeup session.
2. Eligibility and Minor Athletes
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase the Services. If the athlete or dancer in the video is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase and accept these Terms on the athlete's behalf. By purchasing, you represent that you are the athlete or the athlete's parent or legal guardian, and that you have authority to agree to these Terms for the athlete.
3. Feedback Is Not a Substitute for Qualified, In-Person Coaching
My Judge's Eye reviews video only. We do not see the athlete in person, and we do not know the athlete's full skill level, physical condition, injury history, training environment, or equipment. Our feedback is not a substitute for in-person instruction, supervision, or spotting by a qualified coach or instructor, and it is not medical, physical therapy, or safety advice.
You agree to:
review all suggested corrections with the athlete's coach, instructor, or other qualified professional before attempting them;
attempt skills or corrections only when the athlete is physically ready, properly supervised, and using appropriate equipment and surfaces; and
consult a physician or qualified health professional before beginning or changing any training, particularly if the athlete has any injury, medical condition, or physical limitation.
4. Assumption of Risk
Dance and gymnastics are physically demanding activities that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, fractures, concussions, head, neck, and spinal injuries, paralysis, and in rare cases death. Attempting any technique, skill, or correction, including those suggested in our feedback, may increase these risks.
You acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, damage, or loss, whether known or unknown, arising from the athlete's participation in dance or gymnastics or from applying, attempting, or practicing any feedback, suggestion, or correction provided by My Judge's Eye, including during or after a live consultation session.
5. Release and Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you, on behalf of yourself and the athlete (and, for minors, on behalf of the athlete and your family, heirs, and assigns), release, waive, and forever discharge Art Center Collective LLC, doing business as My Judge's Eye, and its members, managers, reviewers, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, and causes of action of any kind arising out of or related to:
any injury, illness, disability, or death, or any property damage or other loss, connected to the athlete's use of or reliance on our feedback, or participation in any live consultation session; and
any decision to attempt, modify, or avoid any skill, movement, or training practice based on our feedback.
This release applies even where the claim is alleged to result from the ordinary negligence of My Judge's Eye or its reviewers. It does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be waived under applicable law.
6. No Guarantees
We do not guarantee any particular result, including improved scores, placements, rankings, skill acquisition, team selection, scholarships, or competition outcomes. Reviewer opinions are subjective, and different judges, coaches, and organizations may score or evaluate the same performance differently. Feedback is provided "as is" and may not reflect the rules, scoring codes, or standards of your specific governing body, league, or competition.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Judge's Eye's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim. In no event will My Judge's Eye be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost opportunities, lost competition results, or emotional distress. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Art Center Collective LLC, doing business as My Judge's Eye, and its members, managers, reviewers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) any claim brought by or on behalf of the athlete or any third party relating to the athlete's participation or injury, or (c) your submission of a video you did not have the right to submit.
9. Video Submissions and Content Rights
Your rights. You confirm that you own or have permission to submit the video, and that you have the consent of every person who appears in it (and of the parent or guardian of any minor who appears in it).
License. You grant My Judge's Eye a limited, non-exclusive license to view, store, and use the video solely to provide the Services. We will not post, share, or publish your video or the athlete's identity without separate written permission from you. If you opt in to the use of your video when you place your order, you grant us permission to use your video as described in that opt-in, and that opt-in counts as the permission referred to in this section.
Appropriate content. Videos must be appropriate and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or unrelated content. We may decline or refuse any submission at our discretion.
Our work. Written and video feedback we provide remains the intellectual property of My Judge's Eye. You may use it for the athlete's personal training and share it with the athlete's coaches, but you may not resell, republish, or distribute it publicly without our written permission.
10. Payment, Turnaround, and Refunds
Pricing and payment. Prices are listed on the website at the time of purchase. Payment is due in full at checkout. Orders are placed through our Squarespace website and processed by its payment providers.
Turnaround. Turnaround time is the option you select when you place your order. Estimated delivery times run from our receipt of a usable video and payment. Estimates are not guarantees.
Refunds. You may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase, as long as your review has not yet been delivered. Once a review is delivered, no refunds are available. Because Services are customized, all sales are final after that 24-hour window. If we cannot complete a review because the video is unusable (for example, poor quality, wrong angle, or incomplete skill), we will offer you a resubmission. Dissatisfaction with the opinions or scores in a review is not grounds for a refund. Refunds and cancellations for the Storyteller Package are governed by Section 1A instead.
11. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information, and any information about the athlete, only as needed to provide the Services and process payment, as described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.myjudgeseye.com/privacy-policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; purchases and communications for athletes under 13 must come from a parent or guardian.
12. Independent Opinion; No Affiliation
Reviewers provide independent opinions. My Judge's Eye is not affiliated with or endorsed by any gymnastics or dance governing body, league, or competition organizer unless expressly stated.
13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at myjudgeseye@gmail.com and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
15. General Provisions
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and My Judge's Eye regarding the Services and replace any prior understanding. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
